Great River Bourbon Aged Maple Syrup

Great River Maple ages their pure maple syrup in Iowa bourbon barrels from Mississippi River Distillery.  So the already delicious maple syrup soaks up the added flavor from the bourbon which includes hints of vanilla and oak. All of the bourbon syrup is done in small 30 gallon barrels which gives a distinct flavor to each batch.

We love this syrup on vanilla ice cream and in coffee but it's so flavorful we also eat it by the spoonful.
