Friendship Soup (Little Barn)
Little Barn pasta (semolina flour, eggs), split peas, lentils, rice, minced onion, pearled barley, beef broth base (salt, sugar, hydrolyzed soy protein, dried beef stock, onion powder, caramel color, natural flavor, powdered beef, autolyzed yeast, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, spice, disodium inosinate and disodium guanylate), Italian seasoning.

1 pound ground beef
3 quarts water
4 cups tomato or tomato vegetable juice
In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink; drain. Add the water and soup mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until pasta, peas, barley and lentils are tender. Add tomato juice. Heat through and serve.
